Washington State Department of Commerce awarded $5 million to Adopt a Charger for 27 multifamily properties that will add 328 Level 2 new charging ports, and one public site with 6 Direct Current Fast Charging Stations. The funding is provided through the Washington Electric Vehicle Charging Program (WAEVCP), and installations will be completed by the end of 2027.

Community leaders, energy partners, and regional stakeholders gathered in front of The Center at Kentucky Highlands to celebrate the ribbon cutting of a new Electric Vehicle charging station that expands sustainable transportation options for the London community and surrounding region.

The City of Clinton is proud to announce the installation of 12 new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at five public locations, made possible through Adopt a Charger’s Charge Up! Mississippi initiative and funded by Entergy’s Environmental Initiatives Fund.

A total of 10 EV chargers are installed in several parking lots across the city, including Union Station, Thalia Mara Hall and the Hood Building on State Street. There are also charging stations at Hinds Community College and the Mississippi Children’s Museum.

Downtown Jackson is now home to the newest set of electric vehicle charging stations in the metro area, thanks to Adopt a Charger’s Charge Up! Mississippi initiative. Funded by Entergy’s Environmental Initiatives Fund, Adopt a Charger has completed installation of eight EV charging stations in three downtown locations to enable zero-emission travel and promote EV tourism.

Through their partnership with the non-profit, Adopt a Charger, Cleco and the Northshore Community Foundation installed six new EV charging stations in Slidell, bringing the total to 17 Level 2 EV charging stations in St. Tammany Parish.
