London, KY — Community leaders, energy partners, and regional stakeholders gathered in front of The Center at Kentucky Highlands to celebrate the ribbon cutting of a new Electric Vehicle charging station that expands sustainable transportation options for the London community and surrounding region.
The new charging station was made possible through generous donations from Jackson Energy, Adopt‑a‑Charger, and CoBank. Charging at The Center is available at no cost, reinforcing a shared commitment to accessibility, innovation, and economic development.
Attendees included the President and CEO of Jackson Energy, Ryan Henderson, and Lisa Baker, Executive Administrative Assistant. “Jackson Energy is proud to play a role in expanding reliable EV infrastructure in our communities,” said Henderson. “This project shows what can happen when organizations come together with a shared vision for innovation and opportunity. We’re excited to help provide free, public charging that supports both local growth and the future of energy in our region,” said Henderson.
